Astros vs. Pirates
got to watch another ballgame... Minute Maid Park this time (Houston). Astros vs Pirates. Pirates win 8-0, all by home runs... even a grand slam. home runs are sweet to watch. just a little more fun when it's for the right team. i really wanted to see Roger Clemens pitch, but he was on the mound Saturday. at least they were giving away free posters of Clemens.
this park is in downtown and completely enclosed with air condition. since you can easily sweat by standing still, i was thankful for the air. But a little different atomsphere than other ballparks.
it was the oddest thing... i didn't see any minute maid for sale.
i've already seen the Astros play, but it was years ago in the Astrodome. so that makes 9 MLB ballparks for me now.

pikes peak 2
hiked my 2nd 14er today. this was also the same as my first, but hiked the front trail this time (barr trail). erica came with me. today's time: 7 hours to the top. there are 2 things that are certain: my wife is in much better shape than i am... and i will never beat that guy's time of 2 hours and 23 minutes to the top.
