i feel like i have so much power!!!
i was at the library the other day and asked if they had a book a friend of mine wrote. i already knew the answer because he was kinda bummed that the library didn't have it. so i told them that they needed to get it since he's a local author and i really wanted to read it. without any hassle or worming around, they said... "that's a great idea" and put it on the top of the order list. i was all like yeah right they aren't really gonna order it... the lady just wanted to get rid of me, right?
i got the confirmation that it's on it's way. sweet power!!! anyway, the book is: The Magic Store Across the Street : Book 2 in the Across the Street Series by Casner Curran. i'll post some thoughts on the book as soon as i get a chance to read it.

ratchet & clank 3
stayed up late playing ratchet & clank - up your arsenal for my ps2 last night and finally beat it. it was just as fun as the previous 2, but this one just felt too easy. maybe i'm just getting too good. ha!

latte homestyle
it's been a long time, but we took the espresso machine out for some fresh air on the counter and made some lattes. i forgot how good that was. i like starbucks and all, but i like it the way i make it much better. maybe i just don't know how to order those crazy-named drinks. i like to stick with the basics and order only a "grande latte" while everyone before and after is ordering "red-eye tripple pump decaf skim" or something like that. what does that mean anyway?

zack's talent show
zack played his bongo drums in a school talent show tonight and did great! here is a video 16Mb (quicktime). i'll try to post a better copy when i get a chance. he was obviously inspired to play from his uncle jordan who was able to come hear him play. that was cool.

iMac
after much deliberation, we have settled on a new computer for the house. check out the iMac. just seriously couldn't find any better hardware for the price. besides, i love OS X. what i hear is that the new iMac will run windows too once the new versions comes out (vista) later this year. who woulda thought. OS X & Windows on the same computer.
