white and nerdy

i have tried to resist posting this, but this song from Wierd Al Yankovic is just too funny. the more i listen to it the funnier it gets. this song is based on "Ridin'" by Chamillionaire, but this parody is al wanting to be a ganster. the only problem is that he is too much into things like star wars, monty python and the holy grail, computer programming, star trek and all things nerdy. the verses explain why he is such a nerd and it will have you ROTFLOL. there is so many funny things hidden in the song and the video i found recorded in wikipedia. i think my favorite has to be donny osmond dancing in the second half with "ganster-al".

the scary part is how much of the song i identify with.

accidental rain

i bought a nice digital camera a couple weeks ago and i'm trying to get into photography. only thing is... i don't know the first thing about it. i have managed to figure out what a couple of the knobs and buttons do but i still have no idea what i'm doing. but... every once in a while i accidently take a pretty cool picture. here is one of the rain hitting the window. another accident. i was actually trying to take a picture of the mountains but the lense focused on the window... but don't tell anyone.

i found a blog template i like called hemingway so i'm trying it out on the blog. what you think? gonna take a few days to work all the kinks out. i don't really do anything with my blog anyway so it may as well look nice huh?
