judgement day
so… may 21 is judgement day huh? at least that’s what we have been hearing. it’s all over the news, it’s plastered on billboards and everybody is talking about it. some dude is predicting christ’s return this saturday (which absolutely means it will not happen this saturday).
in matthew 24:36 Jesus says:
However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.
predictions like this guy is making cannot be correct according to jesus. he says no one will know the day or the hour when he will return. so why do people even bother predicting it anyway. even this time it is said that bible code was unlocked and scripture was studied to base the prediction. i guess the only way that could have happened is if someone ripped matthew 24 out of his bible. seriously, what’s the deal?
but be ready, christ will return when we least expect it. perhaps that means may 20 instead of may 21. maybe that means tonight. we must live our lives expecting his return, but no one will know the day or the hour. Jesus said it. you are not smarter than Jesus. the reality is he could return generations from now or even before i finish writing this blog post. we just don’t know. so get it together. get right with God and be ready.
